A beautiful, well-organized park—I didn’t like the aviary because I didn’t see any birds!! There were fish tanks, but only two birds. Overall, though, it was good.

The buses weren't crowded, ran pretty much on time, and there was always plenty of time to get on and off. The drivers were always polite and happy to provide information. We had a 48-hour pass, which we made good use of in Valencia

Both Venus looked after us well. The Hemisferic was amazing and the Oceanographic was a full day out on its own. Don't miss the shark Tunnel and the Dolphin display.

I had some trouble printing my tickets, but the customer service representative patiently and professionally guided me through the process to resolve my issue. I never imagined such efficiency! It was a truly interesting experience at Città della Scienza, made even more enjoyable by the fact that I didn’t have to wait in line at the ticket office.

Europe’s largest aquarium

Oceanogràfic is the biggest aquarium in Europe, both in size and scope. With over 42 million liters of water, nine huge underwater towers, and more than 45,000 animals from 500+ species, it offers a full-scale journey through the world’s oceans, from the Mediterranean and Red Sea to the Arctic and Antarctic.

See Beluga whales (Only here in Europe!)

Oceanogràfic is the only place in Europe where you can see beluga whales. These rare and charismatic Arctic mammals are a highlight for many visitors, and the aquarium even celebrated the first European birth of a beluga calf in 2016. If you’ve never seen these “smiling” white whales up close, this is your chance.

Travel through global ecosystems

Step into a polar cave, stroll through tropical mangroves, dive beneath the Mediterranean, and watch dolphins perform in a high-tech arena—all in one day. The diverse, immersive environments let you experience life from every corner of the ocean. Whether you're drawn to sharks, sea lions, jellyfish, or flamingos, there’s something here for everyone.

Meaningful experiences through education and conservation

Beyond the exhibits, Oceanogràfic is a center for marine research and conservation. The aquarium runs rehab programs for sea turtles, hosts scientific studies, and welcomes over 100,000 schoolchildren annually for educational programs. Every visit supports real-world animal care and ocean awareness.

See everything else while you're here

Oceanogràfic is part of Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences, which includes other must-visit attractions like the Science Museum and Hemisfèric digital dome—all within walking distance. With convenient combo tickets, it’s easy to explore multiple experiences in one visit.
