We love visiting aquariums across the world and the València Oceanographic did not let us down. The paperwork showed approx 3 hours but it kept us entertained for 4-5 hours. We would have been happy with the aquarium alone but the bonus was visiting the Science Museum + Hemisfèric. All three makes for a great day out. We got to the aquarium at 10.30 and left the museum at 18.00. We are happy to recommend these experiences for individuals, couples and families.

One of the many iconic places in this wonderful city. Quick entry and no lines despite the large turnout. Dolphin show not to be missed and unique place for children.

Oceanografic very nice although a little scattered. Hemispheric disappointed me a little bit. Not a 4d cinema, but still nice.

We went to the aquarium with two children, ages 4 and 14, and we both loved it. Large and spectacular tanks. Too bad the dolphin show was already full half an hour before and we couldn't get in. Put in against no less than 3/4 hour to visit it all. Big disappointment on the other hand was to find out (on other sites it is explained much better ) that Hemispheric shows 7/8 different films while on this site you cannot choose, only the time of entry. We expected to see the secrets of space as it is always extolled! So look on other sites for programming and only then book the time that interests you!

The evening was wonderful. So much passion this family has for dance and music. They really made it a party. Wonderful to experience such a piece of culture during my trip to Valencia.

Need‑to‑Know Basics

First time in Valencia? Let’s break down Valencia entertainment in plain terms. Peak season crowds make early planning worth the effort. Online platforms bundle entries and transfers so you can spend more time exploring than queuing. Pack a reusable bottle, check the local weather the night before, and keep some cash for smaller vendors who still shy away from cards. Weekday mornings feel calmer, while Sunday afternoons can see shorter lines at family‑friendly spots. Sort the basics now, then let curiosity pick the rest of the route. Public transport starts early, letting sunrise chasers get moving before the streets fill. Most venues accept digital tickets, so screenshots beat slow data connections at the gate. Local SIM cards are cheap and spare you surprise roaming bills.
